Want to buy a ghost town with a bar and liquor license? Expand it into a unique getaway! Perhaps the most remote restaurant in Northern California. 12 acres. Riverfront footage on both sides of the Feather River. Includes an island. Possibly THE last private acreage within a National Forest. (Not many liquor licenses in the region, either.) A big tree is growing up through the porch of the bar. The public access dirt road from both north and south is one of the most scenic in the USA. (The northern access is darn scary and features maybe 1000-foot drops into the gorge.) Ishi wandered around these parts. Other famous and notorious details are easily googleable about this ol' town. Provided map provides a good proximity for the location (I improved it from an earlier listing). You can easily get enough info via Google to drive out and take a look and at least see the buildings and river and surrounding few acres. (A guide can show boundaries to serious party. There is nothing unusual but this service will require days to set up because owner/helper lives a long way from property.) You should be acquainted with this type of region before visiting. The southern access is easier in bad weather or wintery seasons.
