Just saw this story.
Maine man sees porcupine get hit by car. Thinks there is a valuable mineral in said porcupine. Stops car. Gets out knife. Cuts open dead porcupine. Finds no mineral. Finds baby porcupine. Rubs it and it starts breathing. Cuts umbilical cord and saves baby porcupine.
Maine is weird.
