So the SJC in Massachusetts ruled that as the laws were written it was unconstitutional to ban upskirt photos in public places.
Obviously this ruling sucks. The SJC isn't saying they advocate it- just they have no power to change it based on the laws.
So what happens? The politicians get off their lazy asses, draft legislation into a bill and get it done. Going to get signed by Deval today.
And...that's the way it's supposed to work. The SJC shouldn't ignore the law- and if there is an issue it should be changed- properly.
So remember this next time a politician tells you there isn't enough time, it can't get done, etc.
It can. If they want to bad enough....
