Zinger!

So John Henry zinged the owner of the Marlins (a team he formerly owned and never got over .500) who was bitching about a spring training line up because he screwed his fans by jacking up the prices.

And it made me laugh because Henry is such a dork.

But it got me thinking- is he the best owner in New England Sports history?

I mean we got two candidates.  Him and Kraft.  What about Jacobs? Hahhahahahahahaha.

Each have three titles.  Kraft built a new stadium, Henry refuses to do so but has made renovations to Fenway to at least try to make it serviceable.

John Henry's Sox had one of the worst years in history.  Kraft's ownership has been steady throughout.  John Henry's proven he is willing to put money into the team to win.  Kraft has not (cue the Patriots honks).  Henry has won his championships without the best coach/player tandem ever.  But hard to compare as they are different games.

Both have trophy girlfriends/wives.

My vote goes to:

Henry.
